Juliana Barron, LMT

Biography:
Juliana was born and raised in Denver Colorado, and joined the U. S. Air Force after graduating High School. She spent 5 1/2 years in Active Duty Service where she had the wonderful opportunity to live in Verona, Italy for 2 years. Juliana still reflects upon her life in Italy as one of the greatest moments on her path. Following Active Duty, she returned to her home in Colorado and joined the Air National Guard where she gained the skill of EMT Basic. She had the extraordinary opportunity to return to Europe on 2 more occasions. She also became a Deputy with Denver’s Sheriff Department in the civilian sector of life, followed by entering the Health Care profession as a Patient Care Technician caring for End Stage Renal Failure patients prior to her career choice of being a Massage Therapist. Juliana’s interest in massage has been present since a small child when she would voluntarily give her mother leg and back massages, but her journey with massage really embarked in 2003. “ Previously I always saw massage as a part-time role in my life to offset my chosen professions. I am happy to say that I have now chosen to make massage my only profession and have the honor and privilege to work at the Manton Massage Clinic to share my skill of massage along side my mentors and teachers.” Graduating from the Massage Institute of Colorado in November 2014 as a Licensed Massage Therapist, and furthering her education at the same school with a second year of advanced therapeutic techniques which have a focus on Structural/Functional Realignment with movement integration, Juliana integrates a number of modalities into her practice to include; Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, and Sports therapies. Eventually she also wants to broaden her scope with Cranial Sacral credentials focusing on healing trauma such as that with Veterans and Survivors of Sexual Trauma. I am very blessed to be a part of MTIC and the Professional Manton Massage clinic. It is here that I have found myself and hope to be a shining light for others to find and embrace themselves and their gifts. When Juliana isn’t massaging, she enjoys being in Nature enjoying outdoor activities, cooking with and for her friends and family, Yoga, Dining and Travel. “the mountains are my sanctuary!” “Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them - that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.” ~ Lao Tzu
